Our drug discovery and development process begins with our Genome5000™ program.  We utilize our mouse gene knockout technologies and state-of-the-art medical analyses to discover the physiological and behavioral functions of the most druggable mammalian genes.  Through this program, we have identified the physiological functions of nearly 5,000 genes and we have validated more than 100 drug targets.  By integrating this genetic knowledge with our medicinal chemistry and antibody development capabilities, we have created a unique, growing clinical pipeline.  The goal of our 10_TO10 program is to advance 10 drug candidates into human clinical trials by the end of 2010.  We believe that our systematic, genetics-driven approach will enable us to substantially expand our clinical pipeline to achieve successful commercialization of important new medicines.
